We’re diving into modular synthesis, with a live set from Nadir – a collaboration between Sydney artist Alex White and Melbourne’s Ben Byrne – and Pia Van Gelder, co-director of the upcoming Moduluxxx Festival, described as something between “a museum, a LAN party and a petting zoo”.

Pia discusses the ideas and activities behind modular synthesis in more detail – and in particular, why it has undergone something of a renaissance in recent times – and we hear a live, 20 minute set from Nadir, acting as a warm-up for their Moduluxxx experience.
